John Gould, BCO

John Gould was appointed as Chief Code Enforcement Officer and Director of Community Development in 2018. He has worked in local government and the emergency services for almost two decades. Prior to serving Clifton, John worked as a Code Enforcement Officer in Yeadon, and Senior Code Enforcement Officer in Lansdowne. John has been designated as a Building Code Official by the Pa. Dept. of Labor & Industry. He also holds several certifications from the International Code Council, including: Building Inspector, Building Plans Examiner, Commercial Building Inspector, Commercial Energy Plans Examiner, Commercial Energy Inspector, Commercial Plumbing Inspector, Residential Mechanical Inspector, Accessibility Inspector/ Plans Examiner, ICC/ AACE Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector, and Residential Building Inspector. John an active member of the volunteer fire service in Delaware County.
